    UGC Highlander Season 12 - 12.7.2014Team: Hydra Gaming[Hydra.TF], BaDumTss[BTD] (Sub)
    League: 9vs9 Asia Steel
    Class: Scout

2014, my Debut Season into Competitive Team Fortress. All I remembered was that I cared more about logging in to TeamSpeak at 7pm to make sure I don't miss the Scrims and Matches, rather than to do my Schoolwork. Also it was a mess trying to get Nine People from different countries in al call at once.

    League: 6vs6 Asia Platinum
    Class: Roamer

This was probably the most I've played Video Games. I have no idea how I managed to stick onto the PC for over 10 hours a day, but I was Committed, I guess... I had a vague memory of a Teammate telling me that I sounded monotonous, and I've been Self-Conscious about it ever since.

Drake was the Trend during this era, I guess. That explains the name. Also, this is probably the Closest I've ever gotten amongst Strangers on the Internet, talking to them on Curse almost everyday. What a weird time.

I have no idea how I ended up on this team. I think I originally joined as a substitute, ended up on the main roster somehow. I was shifting my attention towards school, or so I thought at least, it ended up becoming the year I played the most Competitive Matches.

    League: 6vs6 Division 1

This was probably me at my Prime, I've never been able to play as well ever Since. Playing in the Asian Pinnacle of Competitive TF2 was probably the worst decision I've made, and I never played Competitive ever Since. Despite that, this was probably the most fun I've had playing games on my own. I can't believe I had to stop right before e-sports entered the mainstream.

Here's a switch in interest that made no sense. I stopped playing Video Games and gained interest in Fashion, Music and other forms of Pop Culture. I had a Sneaker phase, got into running shoes, and along the way I picked up running. Watching Eliud Kipchoge run made me want to run, so I did. The event was expensive, but it felt so good Finishing it.

I loved music since I was 7. I liked Rock, then later EDM. Not long after, Hip-Hop, Experimental, Metal, Jazz so On and so Fourth. I love music so much I picked it up as a course in School. I studied Production, Events, Theatre and Sound Engineering but only Picked up Music Composition later on. I've never really learned music theory 'till now, only on Midi though... So I'd consider "sound test" the love child of experimenting and creativity, something born out of pure imagination, and a ton of trial and error.

I've always been aware of forums for Music Production but like most beginners, I'm easily intimidated. I get pressured easily to put out the best work, even if I'm not realistically comfortable producing to that degree. After all Music is a hobby to me. Then I decided to join a Community, a Small one. It's the most engaging and rewarding experiences I've ever had. The few good people running the Community boosted my understanding of music production more than School would teach, and I greatly treasure that.

The Pandemic settled down a bit by this time, and Events are coming back. I decided I wanted to get back to running as well. I never stopped training, but I wasn't progressing either. This time I had a goal, the goal not only to beat the previous time, but to lose weight.
